"Absolutely lovely property in hilly Montalcino! Owner and family were delightful. Getting to hotel with the directions the property shared was essential. Keep in mind Montalcino roads are small and hilly, but there is not too much traffic. The room was comfortable and quaint. Breakfast was tasty and delivered to our porch. Easy to get to the beautiful town. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay, especially after being in Italian cities. We’d definitely go back!"

"Michele and Sara are awesome. Michele greeted us and got us settled in. He provided local information on things to see, do and places to eat. We were extremely happy with our room. It was unique and well appointed. They had a small tray with biscotti and an Italian liquor waiting for us. Shower was hot. Bathroom great and well lit. Bed was very comfortable and the best pillows I had found in Italy. It is located in a centuries old palace. The room had some of the original stone exposed which...

"Pros: The room was clean, cheap stay, amazing views, Cons: The check in process was really bad. There must be an easier way. We had to kill three hours waiting for a response from any member of the staff. No fridges, no coffee, no breakfast. Bad WiFi,"
