"This hotel was nice and a good value. We enjoyed our room and it was located a 10 minute drive away from Chateau Chambord. Parking was a bit limited, and don’t plan on arriving early because there is no one at reception until check in time (and they’re only there for limited hours, so keep that in mind!) Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"An absolute gem in the Loire Valley! This place is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Châteaux de la Loire. The property itself is absolutely stunning, incredibly peaceful, and decorated with immense taste. "This was a very nice hotel in a good location and with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had no car park of its own, but there was a car park across from the hotel. The room was clean but it had no coffee making facilities and the air conditioning was difficult to operate. The evening meal was slightly disappointing; the breakfast was simple, but good. We would be happy to stay there again"

The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. "Could not beat the location, absolutely stunning. Our room was also top drawer. However, dinner was mediocre, waiting staff were poorly trained. Breakfast was poor, again few staff, not attentive and food choices were very limited. I had to chase 3 times to order a simple omelette and it was not busy or peak season. Overall beautiful setting which promised highly but service did not deliver and certainly not aligned to the price paid"

"we are in our 80's, the bathroom is in need of handicapped rails especially how high the tub sides are. The temperature while we were there was in the 60's. the room had no heat. It was quite uncomforatable at times. dinner was very good but having the same menu several days in a row was disapointing. Overall the stay was enjoyable"
