The room was spacious and beautiful- one small criticism is the low hanging light over the table which I hit with my head - twice. "A beautiful hotel situated in an old windmill, right next to the river, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely, clean and well equipped and the shower is great. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our evening meal was wonderful, as was breakfast, with a wide and varied range of excellent, fresh products. You can wander downstairs to sit by the river, passing through a room containing the workings of the old windmill, a bit like a museum, which is really interesting....

All essentials were 5* clean, just a touch of dust on some decorative objects stopped full 5* rating re cleanliness from me. Lots of Art Deco, vedettes du cinema. Fun. Interesting. Other rooms, other styles. Felt appropriate for 1940's villa. Swimming pool was unexpected luxury. Would stay again. Loved it."
