Great place to stay

It is a great peaceful and beautiful place Very good and clean rooms All staff there are very helpful and professional I had a great amazing time there in a deluxe room . Mattress was good but not excellent but the housekeepers were very helpful to take care of any complain Breakfast was good with many food options but all these options were not the best I recommend highly this hotel in spite my little negative things about it

Nice place. Second time there. It is not really a Beach Hotel. The we arrived there was only lukewarm water. The next day, only cold water.

Sprucing up necessary

The staff were very friendly, jolly and efficient. Service was very good. However, the room(s) need some sprucing up, the bedsheets were old and overused, needing to be replaced like yesterday. The bed was clean but the mattress had seen better days and there was water leaking from the ceiling when the shower was opened.

There serious issue with tap bathroom water. Water is super salty and not sure why they thought it’s good idea to give guest this kind of water for bathing or any kind of personal hygiene

Not the place I knew...

Most disappointed on my second stay here. Booked because last time (6 months ago) was a great place to stay plus excellent service and reataurant. Sadly, lacks atmosphere, menu totally scaled back, service when had, good, but invariably hard to get. Place definitely is needing attention as seems management are letting what attracted me to this place, erode fast. Doubt i shall return here again! Real shame!

The hotel was within walking distance to the beautiful Bamburi Beach. The rooms were clean and AC worked wonderfully. Mosquito net was also provided. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel made the trip memorable. Wifi was not the most stable but the staff did troubleshoot quickly and helped out. Breakfast had lots of variety yet quality can be improved.

We booked this nice hotel from 30. december to 2. january in the first place, but extended our stay two times because we really enjoyed our time there :-) Very friendly and professional staff and clean rooms and also very nice breakfast :-)

Liebes Kahama Team! Meinen Urlaub vom 14.11.21 bis 02.12.21 habe ich im ihrem Hotel sehr genossen Angefangen vom frühen Check-In bis zum Check-Out Besonders gefiel mir: Das herzliche Auftreten des gesamten Kahama`s Team. Angefangen von der Managerin, die jeden Tag durch das Hotel ging auf alle Details achtete und notfalls sofort für Abhilfe sorgte wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung war, zudem begrüßte sie die Gäste die sie auf ihrem Rundgang traf. Ihre Bürotür stand für jeden offen, dafür meinen Respekt. Die Damen von der Rezeption immer lächelnd und hilfsbereit, jeder Zeit ansprechbar und wenn es ein Problem gab wurde sofort Abhilfe geleistet. Meinen Respekt dafür!Das Team von der Frühstückscrew: ihr Tag begann recht früh damit die Gäste ab 7:00h morgens frühstücken konnten, Extrawünsche wurden erfüllt, das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und abwechslungsreich. Auch hier für meinen Respektfür die tolle Arbeit.Die Poolboys sorgten für die Sauberkeit des Pools, der Anlage und den Gärten der Anlage immer Tip Top, zusätzlich zu sauberen Handtüchern auf den Liegen und dabei immer freundlich. Meinen Respekt auch hierfür.Das Hauskeeping: Tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers, immer frische Handtücher und als ich mal krank war, haben sie zusätzlich zu ihrer Arbeit nach mir geschaut, ob es mir gut geht.Meinen absoluten Respekt dafür. Nicht zu vergessen das Team der Sicherheitsleute, sehr engagiert, freundlich, hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt. Meinen Repekt und Dankbarkeit

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war gut, teilweise wurde sogar noch ein 2. mal am Tag gewischt, falls man Witterungsbedingt den Boden verschmutzt hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch immer um Lösungen bemüht. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, mal tropft es da dann klemmt es hier... darauf könnte im allgemeinen mehr Wert gelegt werden

En afrikansk oase

Mindre lokalt ejet hotel i swahili stil. Virkeligt pænt og rent. Flot værelse i swahilistil. Imødekommende, smilende og meget sødt personale. Har en politik om at hjælpe unge fra lokalområdet til et job og de gør det godt. Vi boede der i 5 dage og tog så på safari i 3 dage. Da vi kom tilbage for en enkelt overnatning mere, var det ligesom at komme hjem til sin familie igen. Vi tog videre og senere manglede vi transport og kontaktede hotellet igen for at høre om de kunne hjælpe os. Det kunne de selvfølgelig. Hotellet ligger 3 minutters gang fra stranden og lige udenfor porten er det rigtige afrika på godt og ondt. Fattige mennesker i små hytter men vi følte os trygge alligevel. Selve hotellet har et højt sikkerheds niveau med port vagter døgnet rundt. Dejligt poolområde og en bar/ restaurant på grunden. Kan larme lidt fra fodboldkamp i tv eller på visse aftener livemusik. Vi boede der i julen og julemorgen havde julemanden været der og hængt en julesok på vores dør med små træfigurer med vores navne udskåret i og lidt guf. Vi blev helt rørte men sådan var de bare hele tiden. God morgenbuffet fra tidligt om morgenen og ellers mad og drikke til absolut rimelige priser. Det var vores første uge på en 3 ugers rundrejse på kenya kysten og vi nød det meget. Meget ægte kenya oplevelse.

I have been many times to this hotel over the past 8 years but on this occasion it was not up to its previous good standard. The safe in the room could not lock and I reported it everyday and each time the answer was the technician is off today it will be fixed tomorrow. As you know tomorrow never comes, equally the safe was not fixed for the duration of my stay. The light in the bathroom above the wash basin took 5 days to be fixed (needed a new bulb). The wash basin was not emptying and overflowed if you did not watch it and turn off the taps. Just cleaning your teeth was enough to cause overflow. That was still not fixed when I left. Overall a disappointing experience after all my good times at this hotel

Good value for money

We stopped at this hotel late at night and the staff was very welcoming. They helped us with our luggage and made sure that our room was perfect. I recommend this hotel for a quick stop in Mombasa before heading to Diani Beach.
