With humble beginnings in the Bronze Age and later as a centreof coal mining, Mould in Flintshireis quite a remarkable place. History of Mould 

The discovery of a remarkable golden cape locally in 1833 tells us that Mould was settled asfar as the Bronze Age. In the17th Century the coal mining industry began to becomeestablished, and today Mould has a lively population ofover 10,000 people.
