"The hotel is in a lovely location in the centre of Criccieth. An easy walk to both the castle and the David Lloyd George museum, home and grave. We had no trouble finding a parking slot in their free car park. Very comfortable bed. Best chips ever with our evening meal! Good hot and cold buffet breakfast, with toast made to order. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. It took us while to find room 37. Followed signs up and down a long corridor and finally found it on another level,...

"The Fanny Talbot apartment no.3 is an excellent holiday stay. I would thoroughly recommend it. But if I was to be really really critical I would say that a full length mirror would be a added benefit especially for the shorter people and a wall shelf in the bathroom would definitely help. Otherwise this property is fully equipped with everything you could need."

"The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again."

"We arrived about 3pm and were met by a cheerful lady who welcomed us and showed us our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy and totally adequate for what we wanted and expected. All the amenities worked and it all smelt fresh. We got freshened up, had a walk around the village (Stunning views) then came back to eat at the hotel. "The property was large, spacious, and generally clean, so overall our stay was not unpleasant. However, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We tried contacting reception on multiple occasions but were never able to get through, and the reception desk closes at 5pm, which further limited support when needed. "Lovely twin room dual aspect window with biscuits, tea and coffee. En-suite was a little small as knees touched the door when on the toilet, but I’d rather have one than not at all. Nice surprise to have a full cooked breakfast with fruit and cereal, rather than just continental as it says in the blurb."

"We had a lovely stay here, the property is close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Unfortunately, we noticed damp patches in the kitchen and the living room and a bit of mold in the bathroom around the bath. The rooms are spacious, however, the extremely steep steps from the top floor to the first floor had to be cautiously approached in the dark during bathroom visits. The games were great additions and they created joy, fun and social interactions. We had no problem with finding free parking...

"The barn is beautiful and has been a pleasure to stay at. The layout works well, from the large open living space upstairs to the two bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of storage space although for the second bedroom, this is in the hall area. We knew the area well as we had been on several previous occasions, staying in a property on the beach front. However, the ownership changed a few years ago and we have been looking for a suitable alternative and we have certainly found it....
