Ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit Optimierungspotential

Grundsätzlich schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel bei welchem leider immer wieder Optimierungsmöglichkeiten zum Vorschein kommen (viel zu kleiner Buffetbereich welcher meist nicht zeitnah nachgefüllt wird, teils sehr kleine und niedrige Zimmer, kostenpflichtige Badeschuhe, Zimmer bei Bezug sehr sauber nachher nur noch bedingt) Diese Abstriche kann der sehr schön angelegte SPA-Bereich mit vielen Liegen leider nicht ganz wettmachen. Riezlern ist nur mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus (Haltestelle vor dem Haus) bequem erreichbar

Sehr nettes Personal und schöne Saunalandschaft. Weiterhin gilt es jedoch zu erwähnen, dass die Zimmer nur eine geringe Deckenhöhe haben was beim duschen usw sehr enge Platzverhältnisse bedeutet. Aber rundum würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen und auch wieder buchen.

Schönes, modernes Hotel

Check-in lief reibungslos, obwohl wir zu früh ankamen. Zum Frühstück bekam man einen Tisch zugewiesen, man konnte aber auch auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Tolles Hotel -Minus Punkte bei den Betten

Schönes Hotel geräumige Zimmer und ruhig gelegen, Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, leider sind die Matratzen sehr weich wenn man Rücken Probleme hat kommt man Morgens kaum raus, da besteht handlungsbedarf. Sonst gibt es nichts zum aussetzen am Hotel.

Ein modernes chices Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits von Rietzlern, aber die schnelle Busverbindung, mit Haltestelle vor dem Haus ist perfekt, um unkompliziert in den Ort und zu den Skigebieten zu kommen. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig, modern und sehr gemütlich, Freundliche aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Schwende ist der ideale Ausgangsort für Langlauf. Und zum wandern ist man sofort auf dem richtigen Weg. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne im Sommer wieder.

Top Hotel nah an Skigebiet, Mittwochs Ruhetag

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Sonnenburg. Der Wellness Bereich ist neu und somit super in Schuss. Was das Essen betrifft ist der einzige Kritikpunkt die Tatsache, dass Mittwochs Ruhetag ist und Gutscheine für andere Essensmöglichkeiten ausgestellt werden. Hierzu gehört das Hotel Bellevue, das dem Essen vom Sonnenburg absolut überhaupt nicht gerecht wird. Massenanfertigung, die an Kantine im Seniorenheim erinnert mit wenig Spielraum für Vegetarier trotz vorherigem Anmelden. Wer den Standard des Sonnenburg beibehalten möchte, sollte sich für das Casino entscheiden. Alles in allem sind wir wirklich sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel und seinen Annehmlichkeiten.

Zimmer sind modern gestalten! Alles wichtige vorhanden! Die Verdunklungsvorhänge machen relativ dunkel! Frühstück alles was das Herz begehrt! Kleines Familiengeführtes Hotel! Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!

fantastic hotel and lovely staff

We were greeted by a very nice and helpful front desk associate. We were pleased with the value - the gondola tickets were complimentary. We enjoyed the sauna. Dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice. The room was clean and very nice. Just be aware that all drinks at dinner are extra and charged to the room. Check out the alpine slide nearby.

Tolles Hotel, für JEDEN passt es !

Inhaber, Mitarbeiter, Hotel und ALLES drum herum einfach super. Wir kamen abends erst gegen 22:30 Uhr an und wurden sehr nett begrüßt und aufgenommen. Leider konnten wir aus beruflichen Gründen nur 2 Tage bleiben, wissen aber jetzt schon, daß wir wieder kommen. Man kann dieses Hotel nur weiter empfehlen. Alle sehr nett, nicht abgehoben, es passt !

Geheimtipp im Kleinwalsertal

Zimmer: Wir (Paar) hatten die Gipfelstuuba-Suite für zwei Nächte gebucht. Oberhammer! Ich bin in meinem (beruflichen) Leben schon einiges herumgekommen, aber diese Suite hat mich im positivsten Sinne überrascht: topmodern, sehr großzügig geschnitten, Sauna im Zimmer, Wohlfühl-Nassbereich, großer Balkon, grandioses Panorama, sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung. Genuss- und Erholungsfaktor: hoch. Hotel allgemein: Teilt sich in zwei Teile, einem alten Teil und einem nagelneu erbauten Anbau. Beides wurde gut miteinander verwoben. Eine gelungene Mischung aus urig und modern. Uns hat's sehr gut gefallen. Hervorzuheben ist das Hotelpersonal, das durchweg sehr freundich, zuvorkommend, ehrlich bemüht, natürlich und in angenehmer Weise nicht aufgesetzt wirkte (was mich in vielen 4-5 Sterne Hotels immer leicht stört). Essen sehr gut, sofern die Erwartungshaltung nicht 5-Gänge-Gourmet-Menü mit allem Schnick-Schnack lautet. Die zeitliche Organisation des Abendessens könnte noch etwas optimiert werden. Frühstück zünftig, lecker und für uns als Bergwanderer mehr als ausreichend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aus unserer Sicht: sehr gut Fazit: eine überraschend gute Alternative im Kleinwalsertal für alle, die einen 4-Sterne nahen Hotelluxus in jedoch - im positiven Sinne - bodenständigem Ambiente suchen (und dabei noch sparen können, ja wir sind Schwaben ;). Wir kommen wieder.

Very nice

A good experience. The staff was very nice and helpful, english not a problem. Dinner and breakfast was excelent. I loved how they seated everyone by themselves in the restaurant, loved the atmosphere and the coffee!

sehr angenehm; sehr ruhiges Hotel; sehr freundliches Personal; sehr sauber!; Zimmer im Altbau ein wenig klein, aber sehr schön renoviert; tolle Lage mit schönen Ausblick auf das Walsertal; Sauna-Bereich ein wenig klein, aber das ist bei der Hotelwahl "Gasthof" nicht primär; feines Essen;
