"A premier hotel right at the Kumamoto Station. I have stayed here many times, and enjoyed it very much each time. It's a ways from the other bustling areas, but the tram is very convenient. The station complex and the shopping center where the hotel is located are themselves self-sufficient."

"Great views. Air conditioned rooms even in November which was amazing. Could actually sleep at night without getting too hot. Close to the port and to the local train line. All around great stay. Restaurant has delicious set meals too!"

"Our tatami room was incredibly dirty, dusty and bathroom wS leaking n smelly. Bathroom near dining room, water leaked around the toulet when flushed. Sests stuck to dining room floors because floors were vrimy n sticky. When i showed the staff at the front desk, pictures of the grimy tib, they only apologizedand said the hotel is old. We have stayed in 400 yo lodgings in narita, rome and venice that were clean! I wish i could show u puctures that i took! "

"The hotel had hot springs for the guest to use and the room was large, plenty of space to walk around which is not typical for most Japanese hotels. Room also had plenty of storage space and even had a patio looking over the waterfront. It's not a clear view of the waterfront but it's something. "
