"I was worried about our stay because I had read some mixed reviews. However, I was very pleased eith every aspect of the trip. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, wood laminate floor, no carpet. The heat worked, the TV worked and we had a little refrigerator. Breakfast was more than adequate. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, some cold cereals, coffee and OJ. I would stay here again. "

"The owner is extremely nice and helpful. He worked with travel healthcare workers like myself, and gave a fair rate to me every time. Exceptional service 10/10 would recommend a stay here if you’re ever in Plattsburgh. Oh and the beach right behind the lodging is so cute lol "

"The balcony was so nice with a beautiful view and provided a nice quiet place to read a book and relax. The fireplace in our room wasn’t working when we arrived and when we asked for help someone was there very quickly and got it working for us. The kitchen was well stocked and provided a place for our family to be together wheelie preparing our dinner. The fireplace in the lodge was so beautiful and well stocked so starting it up was easy. They were able to quickly accommodate our request to add an additional room for our grown daughters who were visiting. The whole experience was absolutely perfect. "
