Well, to start, the toilet didn't work. The TV didn't work, had to get working remotes, and no channel guides available. Furniture in the room had veneer peeling off. Other than the person at the front desk, VERY little command of the English language from anyone. All were clueless as to how to fix anything. Went next door to attached restaurant, had to go into the kitchen to get service, again, no English, until the front desk guy came over to take our orders. Two ice machines, both broken, no elevator (two elderly people with bad knees had to navigate the stairs), pool was closed for repairs. Had to be moved to a second room, ended up even farther away from parking lot, same TV problems, big gash in carpet, very few wall plug ins, and the power strip had a short in it. No local maps in front office. "Continental breakfast" was stale cereal, warm milk, slices of bread on a tray, and small powdered donuts. No fruit, no juice, terrible coffee. With ALL the issues, no offer to make things right, or better. Only thing that kept me from giving one stars for everything is that the person behind the desk was at least polite, and the AC worked in both rooms. Definitely won't be back! Used to be able to trust the Quality Inn brand...
