You are in the centre, river, monuments, and all related places along with restaurants are there. The taxi from airport cost 1,000 Macedonia Denar equivalent to 17 Euro. "Staff was very nice and tried to help. The reason for 2 stars is for the temperature of the room was 25-26 C. It was way too hot to be comfortable and was unable to sleep because of the temperature. Asked many times to fix it or change rooms, neither of which happened. The entire hotel also smelled like cigarette smoke. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. "

"Nuestra experiencia en Hotel Macedonia Square fue muy buena. La ubicación es inmejorable, en pleno centro de la capital, ideal para recorrer la ciudad y tener todo cerca. La habitación era súper cómoda, espaciosa y perfecta para descansar después de un día de paseo. Además, queremos destacar especialmente la atención del personal: todos fueron muy amables, atentos y educados, siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. Sin duda, una excelente opción para alojarse en Skopje y disfrutar de la ciudad con comodidad y tranquilidad."

"Lots of choice on the breakfast buffet though would have liked a bigger selection of fresh fruit. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food in the Skybar is excellent. The room was clean and we had a great view. Our shower was huge! Also check out the Finnish sauna which was awesome. The hotel is on a hill and it’s a bit of a walk into town but we love to walk so no problem for us. It’s cheap to get a cab if walking is an issue. "

"I was just out of luck, that’s all. Their system messed up my dates. Then room I was sent to was dirty. Then I was downgraded to a smaller room that was clean and available ( yet smaller and cheaper than I paid for). And on top of all, someone before me smoked in a room ( I don’t smoke). Good thing about the place - it’s in safe neighborhood as accommodation I stayed on Friday downtown Skopje, my car was broken into and my very expensive shoes and sample case got stolen. All in all, this was isolated case and will give this host an option to fix the issues- I’ll stay again next time I travel through Skopje."
