"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

Comfortable bed and just right amenities made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast sitting area was separate from the hotel and had a cottage feel, enjoyed having breakfast. "The decor of the room was very nice. It was a very clean and pleasant room with quality bedding and towels. The heat and humidity did not make it possible to enjoy the patio. I probably would not have used it, if our weather had permitted, because there was no umbrella or covering to protect you from the sun. The grounds need a little more lawn care and landscaping. Most importantly, travelers need to know that no elevator is provided to reach the second story guest rooms. This...
