What a cute little place. We enjoyed the new pool! It was awesome. I’m pretty sure my kids have webbed feet now for as long as we stayed/played in the water. The rooms were updated, clean and modern. Cool (temp) rooms and comfy beds. I wanna live there…

Homestead is undergoing major construction. Parking is a nightmare. Construction debris is everywhere making it unsafe to walk to and from the parked car. Once you get past that, the resort itself is on its way to be coming an elite property when the construction phase is completed.

The property is beautiful and clean. The check in staff was not accommodating or nice. Long walk from parking lot to room carrying a bag. Didn’t offer a cart trolley or courtesy ride which I found later was available. Some employees were nice but main check in person was main complaint.

Renovations are nice - feels a bit restricted in that you can’t get a drink (alcohol)and take it outside the main building and walk around or sit by the fire or in the pool area. Food was not great Grounds are quiet and beautiful. New pools are very nice.
