"We stayed here only overnight for flying out from Johannesburg. The room was very modern, clean and quiet which along with kitchen and outdoor platform made it ideal for my family to relax and enjoy. You have to check in by the front desk and provide passport and other personal details for security but it was relatively quick. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and walkable distance to nearest mall as well as under half hour driving distance to The Satyagraha house and Nelson Mandela Square...

"I stayed in the apartment for 10 days. On the 3rd day I asked my room to be clean and nobody showed up, 4th I went down again none showed up. On the 5th day I had to tell I will report them online before someone came to clean. Since then I didn’t wanted to go and request anything and it’s the 9th day, the day before I leave some show up to clean. One of the sunny day I went to the 6th floor to relax with my girl around 3pm and all the place was dirty, left over food on the counter, on the...

"It was nice to have the space at Villa Moyal, but with everything around you surrounded by high fences, razor & electric wire, I was not excited to walk at night. I would have rather stayed a few blocks away, closer to the restaurants and shops of Melrose Arch. "

Offered an alternative at another property and only when pressed could he show photos. Looked even worse and I refused the offer. DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE, EVER."

"After confirming my reservation 24 hours before my stay as required I was told 6 hours before the stay they did not have any rooms. Whats the point of paying in advance for a reservation if its not GUARANTEED. Now two weeks later I still dont have a refund as Hotels.com say it was a non refundable stay, which it was if I did not turn up. That if I had turned up and there was no room is too complex for them to establish. Avoid this place like the plague"
