Hotel Dekat Middle Fork State Wildlife Refuge

"We love this hotel! It’s very clean, located so you can walk to all the shops & restaurants, easy parking."

"We had a lovely experience. The grounds and the upstairs balcony in the Composer House were perfect."

"The hotel is old but acceptable. My biggest disappointment was being given a room overlooking the parking lot, even though the hotel wasn't fully booked. Considering its main attraction is the lakeside location, they could have offered an identical room with a lake view. Cleanliness was also disappointing. There was black dirt in the bathtub, cobwebs around the window frames, and even a spider. There was no phone in the room. Since I was traveling light, I asked for simple disposable slippers...

"The bathroom door was real bad shape. Falling apart. The room was average at best , could use updates including painting and drywall repair. Looking out the sliding glass doors the area beneath needed some upkeep. Restaurant being closed until Thursday should have been noted before I committed to the room."

"Love the tea and cookies at check in plus the free breakfast and staff are all very friendly"

"Like most Graduates, the interior design of the property and rooms was excellent. It would be nice to have free coffee for guests, otherwise we absolutely loved it"

"The staff at check-in and throughout our stay were great! The neighborhood was transitional with unhoused individuals hanging around the property. Free coffee would have been nice in the lobby instead of waiting in line to purchase from an understaffed cafe"

"easy check in, almost everything is in walking distance. The new restaurant/bar is very nice with live music!"

"Good overall"

"Everything was clean and comfortable."

"The staff were kind, and the place was clean and managed well, especially for the price bracket I was looking for. However, it is a cheaper option for a reason. The TV was glitchy. There were only two pillows to each queen bed, and though they were soft they were divided between three of us and they flattened so much it was less than comfortable. They knew three people would be in the room but there were only the standard 2 sets of different sized towels waiting. And the staff member I saw...

"Well there was somebody there at check-in I gave him my credit card asked for receipt to be texted and never received it. The carpet in our unit was horrible! The curtains were falling down. Water leaked out of the shower. They said they were open from 7 to 11 for coffee nobody was there. No instructions were to leave the key when you left."

"The rooms were clean, there was no soap or shampoo. There were not enough towels for 2 days and we couldn't ask the desk, as the doors were always locked"
