"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. "Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...

"Needs an update on the linens and blankets. Not much of a view either. Washer and dryer and fridge work fine. Bathroom needs hooks and towel bars and maybe a new tub surround. The wiring is also a little sketchy as it is extension cords running on the outside of the walls. Should be a bit more upscale and remodeled for the price. "
