I recently stayed at this hotel for a concert weekend, and the experience was quite mixed. When we arrived around midnight after a long drive, we found out there was no parking on the property. We had to circle around for about an hour to find street parking, and we had to wake up early to avoid getting towed. The lobby and hallways were extremely hot and humid, and we even noticed a stain on the carpet near our room.
To add to that, the conjoining door to the room next to ours was unlocked, and when we opened it, thinking it was a closet, we were shocked to see people sleeping in the adjoining room. It was quite alarming to realize that they had access to our room as well. On top of that, the electricity in our room was concerning, when we turned on the bathroom light, it flickered badly, and the dimming light in the bedroom made electrical popping noises.
Finally, we discovered there was a $32 daily resort fee, even though the hotel didn’t feel like a resort. Overall, it was a less-than-ideal experience, and I hope they can improve these issues in the future.
