"Good Hotel, Great Location, but Breakfast Needs Improvement ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Hotel América as part of our family trip through Spain, and overall, we had a good experience. The location is excellent. The hotel is close to everything, which made it very convenient for us to get around and explore. The hotel itself looks either brand new or recently renovated. Everything felt very modern, clean, and fresh. Our room was spacious and clean, and we really liked the comfortable mattress and pillows. One thing that made us smile was the bathroom — it was the first time on our trip that we had a bathroom with both a bidet and a shower! There are two reasons we couldn’t give this hotel five stars. The first was something the hotel probably couldn’t control. Our room was on the first floor, and there was construction happening directly in front of our window. At 7:15 in the morning, a jackhammer woke us up! Not exactly the way we wanted to start our morning, especially while we were on vacation. Hopefully, this was just temporary construction. The bigger disappointment for us was the breakfast. We have been traveling around Spain and staying at different hotels, so we had a chance to compare. For a four-star hotel, we expected much more. The breakfast selection was very limited, both in variety and in the amount of food available. The quality was also disappointing. Some of the pastries, including the croissants, tasted stale. And the coffee… unfortunately, was bad."

"This hotel is really well located for the Old Town including Seville Cathedral. It is full of music/Amadeus artifacts making is different from your run of the mill hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The safe was a nightmare. It would lock and not reopen or not lock in the first place. This happened to us and our friends. We both had to have technical help! 😳 We didn't eat or drink there. We had breakfast and drinks one minute away at the Altara. The limoncello spritz is amazing and very strong!! Lovely waiting staff there. Don't think about driving in the old town. We drove to the hotel - huge mistake and then parked our car a 10 minute walk away and didn't move it!!"

"The hotel is beautifully designed and the excellent air con and comfy beds made for an incredibly comfortable stay in sunny and hot Seville. The location is brilliant for the old town. I'd booked the hotel primarily for its roof top pool, which while small, was the perfect way to cool off. My only criticism was that there aren't enough sun loungers for the roof terrace. There are 4. In a hotel with what, 90 rooms this seems like a massive oversight. Yes there were lots of tables and chairs, but these are not ideal for sitting in the sun. And everyone was using 2 each to make make shift sun loungers. A few more umbrellas to shade from the sun, wouldn't go amiss too. Otherwise brilliant and I would definitely book again."
