"We were helped by a very nice an attentive gentleman at check in and check out. On the way out he requested that we leave a "good review if we can" which saddened me because it appears that he may be the only one trying to keep this hotel alive. It is horribly maintained and although it appeared to be clean the grungy atmosphere made it impossible to really feel clean. Despite the nice guy and his impossible task we wouldn't be returning."

"Location is perfect and a good restaurant is right next door. Staff were EXCELLENT. They helped call cabs, took care of room requests. The Hotel is almost 100 years old but well maintained over the years. Front Street is obviously in the front so I got a room further back and on a side. Very quiet. :). I'd stay there again everytime."
