"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "This was one of the best experiences we’ve had, and really appreciate the staff at this beautiful hotel. The space is lovely, as are the rooms. The location is incredible and the views can’t be beat. Finally, the team there were so helpful and genuinely invested in our comfort. They went way out of their way to accommodate vegan diets and did an incredible incredible job. Easily in the top 5 of our hotel experiences and could be the top spot. Highly recommended!"

"This beautiful hotel is a gem on the Mediterranean Sea. The staff is incredibly kind, polite, helpful and charming. The food is excellent. The dinner at Blum is one of the finest meals I have ever had. The room and view was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the magical Taormina."

"Exceptional, classic Italian beach side hotel. This is the tallest hotel in Isola Bella, and located beautifully above the beach and island. Pay the small amount extra to secure yourself a water/beach view and you will not regret it. Sunrise is a must, just open your blinds and step onto your terrace to enjoy, before going back to sleep until breakfast starts. There is a bus stop at the front of the hotel, you can wait in the shade. 200m to the steps down to the beach and mini markets with fantastic sandwiches are the same. Wow. Blown away."

"We had a few things we wanted to do in Messina - the Caravaggio paintings at the Museum, the astronomical clock and a few other things. We had a wonderful stay - the hotel is so convenient, we loved the breakfast. Seems I should say more, but will simply add that we would / will stay here again and strongly recommend it to others."
