"It was a nice experience and definitely enjoyed it, if it was great I would have said so. Our toilet seat was broken the tents were a bit tired, and all in all I think an 8/10. The front of house staff were fantastic, the driver on the expensive 4x4 transfer from Mezougah to the tent was not so friendly but nor was he rude or unpleasant so those are the reasons for our rating"

"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "Wij hadden een prima verblijf in het Night Desert Camp. ’s Ochtends waren we in Midelt. Via What’s App hebben we doorgegeven dat wij rond 16 uur in Merzouga zouden zijn. Wij werden opgehaald bij Auberge Sahara. Daar konden wij onze auto parkeren. Chauffeur Mohamed stond al klaar met zijn 4WD. Onderweg naar het kamp bezochten we o.a. een oude mijn en dronken we thee bij een nomadenfamilie. Bij aankomst in het kamp hebben wij een rit op een kameel gemaakt voor de zonsondergang. "There is no air conditioning and charger is only USB charge in room. Some room you can not locked and door stay open all night. Felt unsafe while sleeping due to unable to close my door. "

"Avoid at all costs – complete scam! This place is nothing but a tourist trap. After you pay, you suddenly find out that they charge €25 per person just to drive you 10 minutes to the camp. Once you arrive, they tell you that air conditioning is NOT included and demand another €30 per person if you want it. In the desert heat of 50°C, they would literally let you suffocate in a plastic PVC tent unless you pay extra. There is no free water – everything costs extra, even basic survival needs. The...

"Five stars all the way! As a Moroccan, I’m no stranger to Moroccan hospitality and generosity. However, the team at Tangerine Sky Camp went above and beyond my expectations. From the warm welcome, to the accommodations, to the food, to the experience as a whole, we thoroughly enjoyed it! My fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised. "Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!"
