"Property is very quiet, decoration is austere reflecting a modern monastic interpretation. Bedroom and Bathroom are spacious and comfortable. A swim cap must be used / purchased to access the pool. Breakfast room and meal is adequate and pleasing. Bar is austere to the point of seeming unfinished, a missed opportunity."

"This is a storybook property, very quaint and charming. This is an old property though so don’t expect anything modern. Also, if you are a large person the small doors and hallways might be uncomfortable. This property is on-a walking street only about 1/3 mile to parking and a minute walk to the castle. Google maps originally put us on a very winding road that goes to the castle, don’t go this way, google Obidos Parking instead and avoid the windy roads."

"Property is recent and modern in design. Relaxing outdoor setting, still needs work and development to turn it into a relaxing rural retreat that justifies their price point."

"Only negative is that parking is limited and if you arrive late, you might have to walk a bit to get to the hotel. Very hilly near the hotel so be ready to walk uphill one way."

"A unique older style hotel. It was clean, quiet and maybe 10 inutes to the castle. A preordered breakfast was ready for you the next morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"What a stay!! We travel Europe and USA extensively. I have to say this was the most comfortable stay we have ever experienced. The Lobby was comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. The view from the room was second to none. The restaurant staff was first class. I could go on and on but you get the idea. We really hated to leave. The hotel management and staff should be very proud of themselves."

"One of the topmost requirement for us is ice cold AC. They had it plus private parking for 5 euros a day, breakfast included, amazing staff and well Maintained facility."

"We accidently booked the room for the wrong night and arrived the following day. Instead of offering us the room gratis, since the hotel was far from full, they offered us a $10 discount on the room that night and provided no refund at all for the previous night. This certainly was not good customer service and we were disappointed. There was no way of dropping our bags off at the front door and instead we had to transport our bags from the remote parking lot across cobble stone streets for...
