"The property was everything you hope it would be - the staff were fantastic and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the reservation was exactly as requested, the amenities were plentiful, clean and well kept and complimentary breakfast buffet was better than most other places we stay - especially the coffee selection. I would recommend and not hesitate to stay again! The beach is an added bonus - very quiet and peaceful. Quick birthday trip for hubby and I to experience the local Dambo Troll art installations. Do not hesitate, it was a wonderful experience made better by the fantastic staff! - Tip them well:)"

"Don't rely on the photos. Stay for the ice cream shop and the beautiful lake. If the manager spent some time fixing up the space or cleaning instead of sitting outside yelling at guests, it would probably be a nicer atmosphere. Second time coming here, have recommended to friends and family. I understand that the property is old, but that doesn't excuse the fact that it was filthy. Spots on sheets, had to wear sandals in the shower for how nasty the bathrooms were."

"The reason this review is so favorable is the general manager, Jessica. We met her at check-in and she was delightful, she personified Hospitality. She helped us with everything from the tv to where we might dine, with a smile and a super helpful attitude. If she was closer to my home I’d try to poach her for my business.
