I had heard the bass pro shops were pretty cool but this one takes the prize! This bass pro shop is not only a store but an attraction. Besides the usual, there is an elevator that will take you to the top of the pyramid. Once at the top, you can choose to sit at a beautiful bar (shown in the picture), which I found out serves as a venue for special events. I don't even want to think about the amount of money it would cost though. In addition, you can step outside into the balcony for a view of the city and the river.

We didn’t actually stay at the Crown Plaza. The National Guard took over the hotel so we were moved to the LaQuinta Inn. It was very nice once they fixed a shower problem. They even shuttled us back and forth to the Crown Plaza for our breakfast we prepaid for.
