"We had a great experience from check-in to check-out. The room and bathroom were very clean and ordered and temperature control was easy and unit responsive. We enjoyed breakfasts with very good variety of hot and cold foods and attentive staff. Easy on and off of I-35 with multiple stores and restaurants close-by. A good choice."

"We had roaches in our room. Real, live ones. I cannot even describe to you how horrified we were. The entire place was very dirty. Do not stay here. Please trust me and pay the extra $20-30 per night at a better hotel. La Quinta used to be good. They offered to switch us rooms after our first room had roaches in it. I have a video of this. We got into the second room and inspected that the room was better (as in no live roaches.) Paint splatters all over the floor, hair, and dust in every place you can imagine. We even asked for a broom to sweep the floors. Hotels were booked in the area due to the softball and baseball tournaments in the area. We did not eat breakfast as we did not trust it, therefore I cannot rate it. We did not get in the pool but we did see it. It was fairly small and very cloudy. They did have a washer and dryer on site for $2 and it was absolutely filthy, unfortunately. Again, do not stay here. I hope someone from administration sees this and contacts me personally about my stay."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — My Go-To for Business Travel in Overland I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels for work, and the Hyatt Place Overland has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list. From the moment I checked in, the staff made it clear that they value their guests’ time — the process was quick, friendly, and completely hassle-free after a long travel day. The room was exactly what a business traveler needs: genuinely comfortable bed, a spacious desk with easy access to outlets, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, and a layout that actually lets you unwind without feeling like you’re sleeping in your office. Everything was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast is a real differentiator. Hot, fresh, and varied enough that it didn’t feel like an afterthought — I was able to fuel up and head to my meetings without wasting time or money hunting down a café. The location works well for getting around. There is many great restaurants and shops in the area. What keeps me coming back the the Hyatt brand is the consistency. Every stay feels the same level of polished and professional. When you’re traveling for work, that reliability is worth everything. Highly recommend to any business traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and a staff that genuinely gets it."
