Beautiful property in an amazing woodland setting. The manor house is well kept and very comfortable and the hosts, Mike and Valerie are just lovely.....very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Delectable pastries for breakfast too.

Une chambre d'hôte vraiment exceptionnelle. Le lieu est fabuleux, ancienne demeure dans un parc arboré, au grand calme. La chambre est très confortable, décorée avec goût. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner sont excellents, raffinés et copieux. Et enfin les hôtes Mike et Valérie sont très très accueillants et gentils. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez des amis ! Nous conseillons très fortement !

Eeuwenoud landhuis op een wild bosrijk landgoed, bewoond en beheerd door het Amerikaanse echtpaar Valerie en Mike. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen. Mike en Valerie zijn vriendelijk en erg gastvrij. Ze verzorgen een erg goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Ze maken eventueel ook een prima diner klaar. De kamers zijn ruim, de bedden goed. Uitgebreide badkamer beschikbaar. De omgeving is ruig en bosrijk, voor de natuurliefhebber erg aantrekkelijk. Het landgoed ligt tamelijk afgelegen, geen steden in de buurt.

Séjour de charme, formidable

Mike et Valery nous ont réservé un accueil extraordinaire dans cette demeure de charme, chargée d'histoire, nichée au plus profond de la forêt. La déco est réalisée avec goût par Valérie et le confort est au top. Le petit déjeuner, super copieux et tout fait maison est un moment d'échange et de partage vraiment sympa avec nos hôtes, cœur et âme de cette grande maison. Des voyageurs illustres s'y sont arrêtés et y ont certainement apprécié comme nous cette vraie convivialité. Dommage que nous n'y ayons passé qu'une nuit d'étape dans un petit circuit breton, mais c'est sûr, nous y reviendrons ! ...et en attendant, nous le recommandons sans réserves !

Totalement dépaysant ! Mike et Valery sont vraiment adorables et très accueillants. La propriété est juste magnifique et pleine d'histoire, entourée de la forêt et nichée dans un écrin naturel au calme. Nous sommes tombés amoureux du Manoir du Poul et reviendront les voir lors d'un prochain séjour en Bretagne. Notre seule déception : n'avoir pu rester qu'une nuit, car ce n'était qu'une étape dans notre périple breton.

Le Manoir du Poul Coeur de Bretagne

Mike and Valerie are extremely kind, welcoming and accommodating hosts. They provided me with an evening meal on my arrival which was absolutely delicious, as well as lunch everyday throughout my stay. Le Manoir is such a beautiful old building with many authentic features and the Glenmore room was perfect in many ways. I would not hesitate to return.
