with weak jets, bit small pool and both need a good clean ( reguarly!!!). But the areas awful, no natural light, like an office frosted...

"The BEST service which in my experience adds so much to a stay. A truely

room, modern fit out, excellent condition/well maintained. Felt like my 6 year old was more than welcome and they were happy to have us there as a family. They even surprised us at breakfast with a 'happy holiday' dessert for him and tried to give us a table by the windows. Breakfast was excellent quality and a lovely selection. "Big, clean and well-furnished room with a beautiful view of the city, with the sea in the background. Only 5-10 minutes or so by cab from the CBD, and 15 mins to Flinders Station by tram - the stop is less than a minute's walk away. It was very handy to have a kitchenette in the room. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, reasonably priced with friendly staff. I stayed in three hotels in Melbourne, and this one was my favourite, even though it's not directly in the CBD. "
