Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach

Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach

10/10 Excellent
"we stayed for 5 nights and 6 days at this Hotel with breakfast buffet. we picked it for the privacy but did not realize how private it would be in the sense that there are limited shops or things to do even at a walking distance especially at night. There were some restaurants open and other shops that used to be in business near or within the hotel complex but it seemed to have closed, due to the lack of tourist within the area. so you would still go to the main parts of the island to get your lively fix which their shuttle service comes in handy when you decide to go on those outings. having its own private beach was a plus which was one of the main factors we chose this as we were traveling with little kids. The rooms we had was an adjoining suite which I can say was very clean, beds were comfortable. They have a gym inside the hotel which unfortunately could use some maintenance, repair or even replacing, all of the treadmill machine were not operable, the cable machine was also almost hanging by a thread. The hallway going to the gym and spa smelled musty. the over all look and feel of the hotel is great they just need better maintenance or upkeep. the staff were amazing and attentive especially during the breakfast service shout out to Helen, Maddie and Rose who have been so accommodating and attentive to our little ones. I would consider booking another stay but probably when the area has been developed further"
