"Clean and modern hotel equipped with the very best gym I've ever experienced in a hotel. Also nice to have a Starbucks and a pub in the lobby...everything I'd need in a hotel!!"

"Friendly staff at check in. Given a piece of paper per room for times of pool etc … does this change frequently? not very environmentally friendly to print it out each time for each room. Went to use pool and sauna etc to hear one of the staff moaning that a child had poo’ed in the children’s pool and it was now out of action and on top of that the steam room had packed up and no staff. We did use the adult pools and sauna which were fine. We did not eat at the hotel but came back for drinks. I’m glad we didn’t eat as I over heard other guests complaining about their food and the orders leaving one man to wait and eat alone. We were waiting at the bar for a long time to get served our drinks. We sat outside and as it got darker the many lights strung up did not come on. The actual layout and areas available within the hotel were good but the signage could have been a lot better. The rooms were good but heavy duvets for this time of year regardless of the heat wave. There was a kettle with tea coffee etc but no fridge which was a disappointment. Breakfast … not what I expected at all. Not enough staff or attention to detail. Various fruit juices none of which were labelled the orange juice was easy to spot but unsure what the others were. The water was empty and never filled up. There was a lot of mess that wasn’t cleared up, poor choice of coffee from the machines and no where to put teabags etc. I’m not sure how this is a four star hotel our trip was a let down"

"We stayed as a stop over for one night. We selected the hotel based on location and a lift as we had a heavy bag. When we’re arrived all parking was taken so we parked directly in front of the hotel and were told it was council owned and we needed to park and display - no help with finding the park pay area even though it was obvious we were travelling from overseas. It ended up costing us less than half of what the hotel charged. Despite wandering along many corridors I couldn’t find our room and had to go back to reception and ask for assistance. Turned out we had to go through four closed fire doors and down four steps to get to the room - some instructions at the beginning would have helped. Our room was very dark with limited light fittings and a double bed that was ok - hard pillows. We had dinner in the restaurant which was pleasant as well as breakfast."

"Stayed for 2 nights. Standard ensuite twin room. Room had everything but was compact somewhat snug. Ensuite was interesting as it was separates by glass part of which could be frosted by a switch. Only a third was still clear which meant it was private. It also had no blinds bringing in too much light. Breakfast was buffet, didnt realise they offered alternative cooked egges or veg options as this wasnt shared but enough food so not to much of an issue. Great pool and jacuzzi etc, had a dryer for swimwear which was handy. Had to pay to use pool whilst ot wasnt to expensive however if staying it would be nice not to be charged. Had a car so was able to explore area. Fantastic weather made the stay that much better. Overall a lovely weekend and staff were very helpful. Plenty of parking and no charnge aftet 5 for tje whole weekend"
