"I got to my room and the bed was dirty. The bed had crumbs and hair. Then, I pulled up the covers from the bed and saw the wet towels and stains in the sheets. I felt so disgusted to see that the bed was super dirty, the sheets not changed and if the bed was not clean that means that the room was not clean either. So disappointing because I really enjoyed staying at this hotel Element."

"Easy check-in, clean comfortable room"

"Small, quiet hotel with a fantastic location in the Arts District. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and the shower is great. I did wish that the hotel had a gym. One thing to keep in mind is First Friday, which is a loud street festival that takes place on the first Friday of every month. If your room faces Main you will hear it. We managed to fall asleep by 11, though. I would stay at this hotel again without question. "

"We had a really lovely stay. The room was beautiful. They gave us a free upgrade and champagne when they found out it was my husband’s birthday. Our first day we realized the shower drain was backed up and they had someone up there to fix it within minutes. Room service is great and fast arriving. Bed was comfortable. And room was spacious. Highly recommend. We will be back."

"Bathroom was not cleaned. There were hair all over the toilet and sink. Right by the headboard down on the ground there was a cup with yellow liquid that seems to be there for a while. Had to sanitize and wipe all the counter space and bathroom. The floor was dirty and not vacuumed."

"We walked in a couple months ago through the hotel and really liked the vibe in there so I decided on our next trip to book it. However, I had no idea this was a haunted hotel and was surprised when we checked in. It was a little freaky finding out the day of check in, but the staff was great. First time saying on fremont."
