We really enjoyed our stay at Dawson Inn and Suites! The property was very clean, quaint, and welcoming. It had a cozy charm that made our stay especially enjoyable. A great place to relax, and we would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely loved this place. The lobby appeared newly appointed and very cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was very diverse, although no hot foods offered. Loved the country setting and easy parking.
It was a very nice little place to stay for the night on our way to Williamsburg. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the coffee was good. Breakfast was quick and easy. The only thing different I would have liked was a walk in shower as tubs are hard for us to use anymore.
The room was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy to park however on Expedia the property is listed as located in Meadow Bridge, but was actually in Dawson alittle bit further away.
Rooms are all inside, so anyone talking in the hallway was easily heard in our room (late at night a conversation was going on with a staff member and two others and it was very loud and woke us up).
Breakfast was meager and not good.
The rooms and lobby were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was hot with good water flow. Only recommendation I have was that they upgrade the electrical outlets in the room by making them more readily accessible and adding USB ports. Other than that it's a great little place. I will stay there again when I'm in the area and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Breakfast was nothing fancy like the big chain restaurants, but there was a good selection of carbs. Coffee was hot and plentiful!
A great alternative to overpriced chain hotels. Room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was better than most. I really appreciated the refrigerator with a freezer compartment. A amenity that seems to be disappearing from most chains,a microwave in the room made life easier.
This was the nicest hotel. We were treated like family. The room had recently been renovated and it was all just as advertised. It clean, convenient on and off the highway.
Super nice, quiet place. The room was nice and well decorated and the sheets were super soft. They even give you a black washcloth for makeup and a folder with some pamphlets for local places inside, both of which were really thoughtful. Everyone I talked to was friendly. There is a well stocked fridge with drinks you can buy and some snacks and food as well. There is a nice lobby/lounge to chill in or have breakfast in. It's also right next door to a very nice gas station!
Cleanest Motel we have ever stayed in,,The girl Lady ,that checked us in was great and helpful about places to go,Play ,eat ect,Super Quite,,Breakfast options were a little weak,,But we got by..Will book this place again if in the area.
From the front door to the final good-bye it was great! Friendly staff, welcoming lobby, sparkling clean rooms and continental breakfast all made for an incredible stay. Highly recommended! We will be back!
It’s a small hotel and the staff live onsite. The hotel was very clean and the room was spotless. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity but a short drive away is a restaurant located in a gas station. It sounds sketchy but the restaurant was clean and the food was very good.
We stayed here several times for just a 1 night stay, on our travels. The owners live on site. This is the 2nd year for the new owners, I think.
It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a gas station next door that has fabulous fried chicken.
