"Beds where comfortable. There was only one kitchen type chair. Only 1 suitcase holder, no shampoo etc in bathroom, sink not in bathroom with broken plug and room needed washed / wiped down. Owner nice but will not stay again."

"Location was excellent for what we needed it for. Have stayed here before and it has not changed in cleanliness. Front desk not staffed, had to ring a phone number. Outside entry filthy, but could be so inviting if cleaned and presented nicely. Inside is dark and uninviting as well, rooms have old decor, balcony....well you couldn't use as filthy and a place to store rubbish. "The view was great. Staff were Okey, but unfortunately, there was a lot of small insects inside the cabin. Once we checked in, we tried to turn on all the appliances and the AC was not working. Called the number on the book and was referred to the staff at the site and Informed us that it is not working and could not tell us when it is going to get fixed. So we have to open all the windows. I e-mailed the office asking maybe to give us a discount on our stay but, sad to say we've checked out...

"Easy to get to. Close to many things. Lots of parking available. Wish breakfast went to 10 instead of 9 but not a huge deal. The room was basic but clean. For the price, it's a great deal."

"This place was great, with lots of cute extras! Canoe, kayak, dock that you can use. A great playground, and clean rooms. There is a kitchenette and fridge so you can make simple meals. A cheap alternative to a cottage."

"We stayed here 2 weeks ago and then again this weekend. Their check-in procedure is efficient The beds are amazing with all new linens. The improvements are coming along. We liked the extended privacy fences so we can sit quietly outside to see the views of the lake and trees. The path to the water is maintained.We had a very peaceful weekend. Thank you"

"The room was immaculate, recently renovated and sparkling clean. Beds were very comfortable and the property is walking distance to many amenities. Several restaurants a grocery store and close to the highway but not right on the highway. Great price too!"

"You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre.
