"This was a great spot lactation wise. Close to lots of great restaurants and the street fair on Thursday. The hotel is very cute and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommended. "

Excellent location, very comfortable rooms, great pool area, tasty food.
The ladies cleaning the rooms were also friendly and fabulous.
Only thing to mention was the breakfast offering is a first come first served which at the weekends, means you either enjoy a lie in or get up early to have good.

"We always have a wonderful time at The Avalon Hotel and Bungalows. We come from the Central Valley to Palm Springs a few times a year and always stay at the Avalon if possible. It is the quintessential Palm Springs hotel. Over the years we’ve tried other places, but always come back here due to the wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, and epic Mountain View’s from the property, which sits right at the base of the mountain.
In addition to providing magnificent views, the property is centrally located in Downtown Palm Springs. Shopping, dining, museums and nightlife are all within walking distance of the hotel. "
