"A great spot to stay before travelling from the Halifax airport. Extended parking is easy to access and the shuttle to the airport was effecient. The hotel itself could use a facelift as it is starting to look weathered and dated. Overall, it was quiet and comfortable, so we will definitely stay again."

"For that price and name of Hotel we were expected better standards. Washrooms were awful. Outdated. Toilets didn’t flash fully. In bath tub we couldn’t close pug for bathing a child: shower didn’t work fully either. What a disappointment and waste of money! "

This place is kind of infested with mice - they’re in the common room, in multiple dorm rooms so switching rooms isn’t even a viable option, and they seem to travel through tunnels in the walls, leaving scratching noises all night and droppings everywhere. There doesn’t seem to be anything that can be done by them - the front desk just gave me some dryer sheets and said the smell repels them apparently. The kitchen is also near...

"We spent a week at this hotel. It was our first time visiting NS. It's such a perfect location if we you wanna drive around different places (Peggy's cove. Lunenburg, Halifax, etc). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities such as the pool and the gym were in great condition. Plenty of parking including a couple EV chargers. Included breakfast was good but pretty repetitive. The lounge food was great, specially the Ceasar salad and the flatbread. Our room was good,...

"Room was exceptional and so clean. Loved the Aesop touches. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good but not included in price of room stay. Amenities amazing but lacked a communal shower in spa area near steam room and sauna which isn’t great for hygiene. The speakeasy bar is a great touch! Delicious and well made cocktails. "

"The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The restaurant on site was excellent with a nicely varied menu for breakfast and supper and was priced comparatively to the surrounding pubs. Most of all ALL the hotel staff were friendly, efficient and really made our stay special. A shout out to Manager Jeremy who seemed to be everywhere and willing to engage to ensure our stay was 100%, which it was."
