"I don’t always write reviews, but in this case I just had to, cause I can’t recommend this absolutely beautiful place enough. I’ve been an avid traveller for 40 years, stayed in plenty of top hotels, and this place is easily in my top five of all time. "Excellent stay at Dievole! Great amenities, clean property, friendly staff and great wine. Food was good but not amazing. There are two paths to get to the property. If you’re coming from Florence or Siena, make sure to come into the property from the highway with only 1km of pleasant unpaved road instead of driving 5km of a crazy unpaved pathway like I did. "

"Wonderful stay in a wonderful place. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served weather permitting) and the executive rooms on to the cathedral are spectacular. All the staff is super friendly and keen to help. The hotel or relais is beautifully decorated and everything is spotlessly clean. That is also true for the rooms which all have antique furniture.
