"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"Exceptional place with an excellent host. Everything was perfect. We ended up choosing to forego an afternoon of site-seeing just to lounge around the pool in the court yard. The host and his family went above and beyond to make our stay the best couple of days during our two weeks in France."

"Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette établissement. Acceuil souriant, chambre propre et correctement agencée. Le bruit de la route (très passante) n'est au final pas trop dérangeant. La piscine est un plus. Nous avons dîné sur place (il faut reserver), le repas était bien. Petit déjeuner copieux. Au final, une bonne expérience, au cœur des possibilités touristiques de la région."

"This is a beautiful tranquil little hotel in an historic building. They serve a lovely breakfast and have quiet sitting areas in the garden. It’s is easy to walk the town from here with many restaurants nearby. I’m sorry we didn’t stay longer!"
