"Nice and Clean"

"Clean simple room, did the job for a place to sleep for the night."

"The room was decent but for over 200 a night I expected it to be a bit better. The shower and toilet were so loud when it was running you could hear all the noise in the room. the hotel said breakfast was included. There were apples, bread and waffles ONLY. The juice tasted like they added concentrate with no water. The only person that was decent was the shuttle driver- she was awesome. "Quiet and clean hotel. Nice area. The rooms were clean and they had the balcony door (had a screen) open so we had a nice breeze and fresh air upon entering our room. Not stuffy like the usual hotel smell. "Breakfast" is offered on site but there were very limited options (I'm not the picky type) so we opted for our bananas and granola bars we already had with us. Overall, nice accommodations. Can't complain."

"The staff were very kind, however the property is in need of both cleaning and updates. Our shower had mold on the ceiling and the curtain liner, the jacuzzi tub needed to be cleaned, and the room definitely had a very strong odor. We were only able to get a smoking room and the scent was extremely evident, to the point where it affected sleep and made my clothes smell that I didn't even wear. I understand the appeal of a smoking room for some, but the small space made it hard to handle. The TV...

"The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. "Beautiful place to stay. Unsure about the laundry or spa since we did not use it. Check in was super easy and convenient. Don’t forget to return your parking pass… learned that the hard way."

"I can deal with mediocre-but I can’t deal with a smoke detector going off at 2am and not stopping for more than 20 minutes at a time. Absolutely horrendous night sleep."

"My favorite place to stay in Newport! Friendly staff, best amenities, great rooms. Centrally located to beaches and dining and close to the Cliff Walk. Planning our next visit soon!"

"This was a great overnight Inn. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Only down side was we weren't able to use the fire place after a chilly rain, but staff did get us a few more blankets."

"Room was very clean and house was beautiful. GREAT location for going to downtown Newport/Mansions/Cliff walk/etc. Bed: mattress comfortable but wooden bed VERY squeaky. Loud squeaks woke you up every time you shifted position TV: could not get any local stations. Not a huge deal for us at all, but may be for others Electrical outlets: lamp on right-side of bed was not even plugged in bc there's no outlet. "The Atlantic House is in the perfect location with amazing views, which is why we chose to stay there. The hotel needs updating. It’s generally clean, bedspreads don’t match the old curtains still hanging, pleather couch and chair in room. The beds were comfortable though.
