It’s a standard hotel in Japan, room is small, staffs are very helpful, location is great, various restaurants nearby. Everything you need is just a few steps away, perfect for 1-2 nights short stays.

Located in one of the most popular areas in Matsuyama, walking distance to the Castle Ropeway, Mitsukoshi Dept store and many other attractions. Easy public transport to Dogo Onsen by tram or bus. Lot's of eating options from cheap chain shops to specialty shops (sushi, yaki-niku, etc) Their public bath is a plus. Recommended.

Dormy Inn a must stay in Matsuyama

Location was very close to the Iyotetsu train station and located on a very big mall with lots of things to do and lots of good restaurants. The morning breakfast was excellent but not as good as the Dormy in Wakayama but still good. Free washes with 100 yen dryer and free popsicles and drinks at the onsen was nice. Will definitely choose this place again
