Arashiyama Onsen

A serene landscape with a pond, rocks, and trees.

A cityscape with a river, dense greenery, and a hilly backdrop.

A wooden pier extending over a river with people walking on it.

A calm river with boats docked on the left, surrounded by cherry blossoms and traditional buildings.

A row of traditional rickshaws parked on a gravel surface.

Awesome staff with great communication. Quiet area in Kyoto and about 11 min walk to the station. Kitchen and washer/dryer were convenient and easy to use. Shower was also great with good water pressure.

The hotel is not large and may only have limited rooms compared to we have stayed before but what it lacks in size it makes up for the other aspects of accommodation. Most important thing is location, location. This hotel is in the middle of the action. There is a family mart right across the street. A ton of restaurant on the left and right side. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is compact but it will sleep what it says the capacity is. And they make sure they maintain it clean. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Osaka.
