"The house and deck had gorgeous views of the river and mountains. It was peaceful and relaxing. Donna, the owner, was very accommodating, sociable and offered us access to the entire home with use of the kitchen, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and outside deck areas. Breakfast was also excellent! We higjly recommend this BandB and will look to visit again in the fall. "

"The hotel is furnished in a classical style with warm wood tone. It'maintained reasonably well and clean. We were given a room that seems to have a leak from the ceiling. Front desk was very quick to assign us to a different room. The bathroom works ok for me but lacks table surface for makeup. The Tap room serves very delicious food and service was excellent. Overall we will return when visiting Shenandoah again "

"It was quaint."

"This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area....

"The property is ok for spending one night. It is quite noisy if all rooms are booked as the opening and closing of doors is always accompanied by electronic noise and the walls are really thin. "

"Location to Skyline Drive entrance excellent. Friendly staff. Surprisingly roomy. Excellent shower. Plenty of towels. Updated but kept charm. Parked right in front of room door. Great price. Seats out front of room and nice field out back. Rainbow and lovely sunset were a bonus. "

"It was PERFECT. I hesitated a lot because of the reviews but decided to stay because we were staying just for one night. We stayed in the room with two beds and it was renovated with nice bathroom tiles and modern mirror. There was a picture of the pool but no description of the pool as an amenity but I was presently surprised that pool is there and open from 9 am-10 pm. It was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by mountains. There’s a vending machine and 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby....
