Hotels near Mass General Waltham

"Its 30 degrees out and the heat didnt work. The concierge didnt care. They didnt have real blankets and when I went to get more - I was given a flimsy cotton comforter which was as warm as a sheet. The hotel is loud due to fact its literallg over the highway - and their noise cancelling machine didnt work. Its insanely difficult to load and unload - and they made it worse by blocking any of the unloading parking spots. And now - they even charge you 30 bucks extra to park overnight. I dont honestly know why anyone would choose to spend decent money here. "

"Everything good. Would give everything an A-. Except the walls. I wanted to give a better review, but the walls didn’t stop any sound. We couldn’t even sleep because we heard everything through the wall, without even trying. We heard so much we could write a perfect transcription of their conversations while laying in the bed. The bed that is on the other side of the shared wall. If it weren’t for having shrödinger’s walls it’d be a no-complaints stay."

"We have stayed here many times with no complaints however this time was different. First, there were no food offerings in the morning as before with no explanation as to why. Not even coffee. There was a power outage one evening and the emergency generator did not engage. I had to climb to the 3rd floor on my just recently healed broken ankles. No help or explanation was offered by staff. Spent all night in the dark and no devices were charging. The room landline was also out. I shudder to think what would have happened if we had a true emergency with no means of communication. The next morning when questioned about electrical service the staff member said it would be handled when the assistant manager arrived at 11 am. Seriously? Wouldn’t management have been on scene when there was a known problem? Never again!"

"charged for parking which I was not aware would be done. Literally can't park anywhere else, basically rob you of another twenty bucks."

"Hotel was filthy. Entire hotel stunk. Just awful smell once you walk in. Room had molds, previous guest/tenant trash, cat food, dog food, pots and pans. Broken and dirty furnitures, dried up throw-up in the stairwell, trash in the hallway. The worst hotel experience I have ever had. This is coming from an immigrant from a third world country. We only slept there because customer service wouldn’t move us without a fee. The over night manager was very apologetic. That was the best part of the stay."
