"Stayed april 25 and we thought the place was nice, however apparently we had no control over the room temp and it is was warmer than I would've liked. No air conditioning...weird."

"It was close (walking distance) to University Hospital. There was an annoying constant hum. Perhaps from an outdoor generator???"

"Room was dirty, couldnt get any boiled water for our baby to make her formula, no way to bring a stroller up a level, resteraunz was closed. To top ot off we had a cleaner knock on our door at 8am wanting to clean the room"

"This place is fantastic. We took in some live music and the kids enjoyed the pool. The facility that is attached to the hotel is pretty amazing and convenient as well. Can't wait to go back!"

"We did not enjoy our staf here. The young guy working on the front desk was rude abd not accommodating. We are senior citizens. We didnt know there is no elevator in the hotel. The guy on the desk said we would gave to pay an extra $10.00 per night for a room on the main floor. We're on a fixed budget. The same guy couldnt even get me a few extra hangers i requested and said they had none! The hotel was almost empty so he could have gotten a few hangers from another room. On another occasion my...

"I paid a 100.00 security deposit and still have not received the credit for it. Room was in excellent condition when we left. Reception said it would take up to a week to get the credit on CCard back. Its been a week and still no credit for the 100.00."

"The staff was lovely and check in was easy however the hotel itself is very dirty and outdated. I had a fine stay but I definitely will not stay there again."

"The room was large. Nice size living room and washroom. The beds were cozy. The desk was great, but the desk chair was too short (had to sit on knees). They had a convenient shop in lobby. It had a number of snacks, including ice cream. Breakfast was decent. It was nice that it was included in price. It was very convenient having Jack Astor’s attached to hotel. It stays open late. It was located in a nicer area."

"The staff were pleasant and the room was clean. My only issue was the breakfast. Ham instead of sausages or bacon seemed cheap and the premade omelettes weren’t appealing. Boiled eggs would have been nicer. And only the side of the toaster with the broken handle worked. The other side (right) wouldn’t stay down to toast. "
