"Amazing place that we have stayed at several times. We stayed in the Walker House and the only complaint I have is you can't control the temperature in your room. Ours was too cold this time. It was a somewhat minor inconvenience, but still an inconvenience. We called the front desk and they said they could lower the temp to the whole building, but I didn't want to take the chance that it was our room only that was too cold. "We recently stayed in one of the cabins for the weekend. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the price was pretty steep, about $450 p/night. But, it's not really a cabin, more like 1/3 of a cabin. One room, two beds and a bathroom; that's it. Good luck finding receptacles to plug into. We ate several meals at the on-site Tavern and the food was delicious but the wait was atrocious. "Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug."
