Nice stay

Very nice stay. I was there 7 years ago and the rooms are renews. The painting outside should be remade. The swimming pool should have stairs to enter easier especially for elderly and people not in good shape

The gardens of this grand old building are just beautiful and offered a sanctuary to return to during the heatwave. Staff were always helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was very good. The room was simple, sparkling clean and quiet, with a nice green view, but shower was really tiny. Location perfect for exploring the centro storico, walking distance to all the main sights with the bonus wednesday markets right out front! Highly recommended and good value for money.

Great choice

Would certainly be our first choice in the area again. Excellent quality lunch provided even though we arrived when this has officially closed, reception was very helpful. Breakfast similarly excellent, including the best salami I’ve had in a hotel. Really extensive grounds including a pool. Not a small hotel but it also had a charm which I haven’t seen in a hotel for decades.

Excellent breakfast. The room had two good luggage racks (unusual as there's normally only one) and a walk in wardrobe with full length mirror. Room was a bit bland in décor but fine for a few days in Martina Franca. The shower cubicle is very tight even for a small person like myself. However, overall, with pool and lovely garden, it was a great place to stay and walk into the old town from.

Beautiful grounds, very clean room which was cleaned daily. Shower was on the small side and the hairdryer was prehistoric! Good service during meal times, waiting staff were very accommodating. We only used the restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was ok, offered the same things each day. Lunch menu offering a good amount of options. Pool area was quite small for the size of the hotel and there wasn’t any parasols available which was a shame because it was very hot. Overall a good location and a lovely stay had by all.

The Good: The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the grounds are absolutely lovely—peaceful and well-kept. Definitely one of the nicer parts of the stay. The Not-So-Good: That said, the rest didn’t really feel up to four-star standards. Parking on arrival was impossible, as they had events going on. Street parking was necessary until later in the evening, when things quiet down. The bedroom was VERY small. The bed was incredibly hard, and the pillows were so thin they were almost pointless. The shower was tiny—I literally couldn’t turn around in it or lift my leg to wash my feet. It felt more like squeezing into a wetsuit than using a shower. Breakfast was also pretty underwhelming. The overall selection was minimal in each category—just a few cold cuts and cheeses, and the only eggs were either hard-boiled or some pretty sad-looking scrambled ones; no bacon or sausage or cooked meats. A few pastries and tarts rounded out the meager selection. All-in-all, this is much more a tired three-star hotel than a four-star hotel, except for the lovely grounds,

Great hotel. It is just near the Centro Storico of Martina Franca. The rooms are clean. The staff from reception and breakfast are very kind. The pool is a great asset. We hope to come back.
