"Super cool property located in town. The renovation details of the lodge is very upscale. Lots of great amenities; comfy bed; great kitchenette, cool bathroom decor. Good communication from staff and property kept very clean. Great spot to enjoy weekend getaway. Traffic can be busy during the day but everyone is very friendly on the roads to the beach."

Eventually just turned it off. Rooms had wooden floors so can hear the occupant next door move the desk chair. Load scraping noise across the floor each time they moved. "The parking spaces were too close together, a man pulled in next to us and slammed is door into our truck as we watched. The room looked nice and clean except the shower did not drain was clogged, staff did come and fix it pretty quick. The door would not open 90% of the time and did not shut right even when locked. "This was a last minute addition to our trip from Southern California up to Lake Tahoe, and we decided to make a stop outside of San Fran. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and after checking us in she let us know all about the new coffee/cocoa maker which made a very good cup of cocoa. The room itself was clean and in order and gave us a good spot to recharge before hitting the road the next morning and starting the day in Muir Woods."

"We've stayed here many times. Sometimes in the main lodge, and a few times in cottages. The whole site is pretty nice and close (8-10 miles) to a lot of cool beach sites. The cottages are a bit rustic and might not be squeaky clean. During this stay, ours had a few light bulbs out, and a janky shower, but overall the Creekside Cottage is pretty cozy-- perhaps 20% overpriced if we're splitting hairs--it's really just a one-room cottage with two sofa beds that can be utilized in the middle of the...

"Small indoor pool that smelled overloaded with chlorine. A/C wasn't working and hotel sent us a box fan that was so noisy you couldn't watch tv or sleep. Construction noise was very loud and woke us up every morning by 8 o'clock clock. Room also was right over the trash bins so more noise with that. Bar was out of Chardonnay so was given an inferior white which cost us $12 per glass including tax. A little over the top with that price for not very good wine.
