The staff at the desk was exceptional when I arrived. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have remembered staying here. It was pricey for what I had for a night. It had wifi, a bed and a shower. It was simple.

Guests have to do part of the cleaning.

They ask you to take out rubbish before you check out... I guess I should be grateful that they didn't tell me to wash the bed sheets for the next guest by hand. Poor Air conditioning barely cools the room. Nice reception.

1. close proximity to train/bus but hotel should list the name of stop in the hotel info- that would have been helpful our first day 2. most staff speak some English although we speak/understand some French. 3. Room was acceptable in terms of space, no outside sound, and felt very safe in hotel and in the neighborhood. This is the first hotel I stayed inwhich there was one set of towel and was told that if I need clean towel I need to wash the ones issued myself for 6 euros to wash and dry. There was no cleaning of the room and was told that I have what to clean the room. That appears to be the policy; however, the staff was incredible with making adjustments realizing that we were not informed that this is the expectation. The hotel setup is as an apartment intended for French family staying for some time and not necessarily for oversea tourist. In the end, we made the best of it and had a great time.

The WORST WIFI I’ve ever had at a hotel

WORST WIFI I’ve experienced at any hotel. The WiFi speed was like going back 20 years to dark ages. The speed was excruciatingly slow. We were told the wifi is bad in our room and there’s nothing that could be done. The WiFi couldn’t download anything, even the free Marseille airport wifi was 100x faster. I had to buy mobile data for the family to share. The Aircon was good downstairs but didn’t get upstairs so it was cool in the living room and very hot in bedroom. We asked for additional towels and were charged for replacement towels even though we stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were also not cleaned and they said that cleaning was for stays below 3 nights 😩. Very disappointing property for a great location and decent customer service.

Leider heruntergekommen. Die wichtigten Dinge wie Dusche, Bett und Waschbecken waren sauber. Wände, Vorhänge und auch Lichtschalter, Kühlschrank etc. Allerdings in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Sehr lange nicht geputzt.
