The staff is friendly and polite! Rooms were very nice and comfortable. The area is absolutely perfect in the old port region. Able to walk to many things and scooter quickly to anywhere you want to go.

Excellent location for walking to and from the central areas with shopping. Mall is about 15 mins walk. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Elizabeth was excellent! Would stay here again!

The only thing is that they say they have parking, and it doesn't belong to them. It belongs to a third party and you have to pay about 20 euros per day plus tax and walk about a block with your suitcaises to the hotel. But the hotel is very beautiful and modern and has excellent service.

Try the Golden Tulip if visiting Marseille.

Friendly (if delayed - 1 receptionist on duty dealing with a guests query) but our room turned out to have not been cleaned after the last guest! Quickly moved to another room that couldn’t be faulted. Good breakfasts and lovely staff. Very good location for the ferry port.

Nice people and clean. We had no issues as others. The breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. Its noticeable that the outside areas are close to a street with traffic. The hotel is great to reach by bus. Many thanks to the room cleaning staff. Our room was always very carefully cleaned. Thank you!

The property is located in a convenient area. The was booked for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 and it was much larger than standard hotel rooms, providing enough space. The pool was conveniently located and breakfast was available. The room however had noticeable stains on the couch and carpet. The bathroom in the room we were placed in had mildew.

Golden Tulip - a very nice place to stay

The Golden Tulip was a wonderful place to stay. The property is modern, comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is close to many points of interest in Marseille. The staff was always accommodating, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Large balcony not a bonus.

Check in was a bit slow. Everything else was great, friendly staff. The room had a large balcony with an overpass next to it, there was no noise when the doors are closed.
