The hosts were fantastic and attentive. The room was perfect for our family of 4 overnight. And it’s only a few minutes from snowshoe. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!

Highly Recommended Inn

Morning Glory Inn exceeded our expectations. If we were able, we would have extended our stay just because this Inn was so lovely and in such a beautiful area. The hosts were beyond terrific, the rooms were large and decorated to make a stay so very comfortable. Hope to come back here in the future.

This was our second time at the Morning Glory Inn. We love the peaceful, calm setting. The rooms are spacious, clean, and while quaint, also adequately equipped with modern amenities like Wi-Fi. The hosts are very warm and friendly, making our stay seem as if we were at friends’ home!

Very cozy and clean

The Morning Glory in was cozy and beautiful. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Weekend breakfast was personal and delicious. The breakfast had many healthy choices to nourish your energy for the day of adventures.

A lovely Inn with truly enjoyable hosts! Loved the porch and the humming birds and the conversations with Nathan and Staci. The room was wonderfully comfortable and cozy. A place I want to visit frequently! Probably a bonus that there is on cell or wireless because of the observatory but the hosts offer their landline for calls and there is wired internet if you must stay connected.

Great place to stay if skiing at Snowshoe and don't mind a short drive. Just be careful drive can be icy and troublesome if you don't have 4 wheel drive

This is a wonderfully kept property with very gratuitous host and hostess. Our room had 2 queen beds, a love seat, a table, small refrigerator, and a microwave. We were visiting Cass Scenic Railway and Morning Glory Inn is one of the few lodging options in the area to offer breakfast. This is a rural area that primarily focuses on the winter ski trade. In the off season dining options are limited and tend to close early so plan accordingly. Also cell service is limited. If driving in from the south consider using US 219 instead of the routes that Google Maps and Mapquest might recommend. It is a much wider road than VA 39 and WV 39 even if a little bit longer from I64.

Road trip weekend.

The B&B was great. The family was very friendly and made us right at home. Betty helped the family out in the kitchen , we loved Betty , she shared some of her recipes with us. The weekend breakfast got an A+. We would definitely stay at Morning Glory Inn again.

This bed and breakfast is five star. The owners are especially kind and the hotel has that magical character reminiscent of the 1950 with 2020 amenities. Highly recommend you visit Slatty Fork, West Virginia

A great place to spend a weekend

This property was beautiful and very well kept. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, offered good recommendations on food and activities and helped make our stay very pleasant. The rooms were very large and pretty, and the beds were incredibly comfortable!

This will be my go to place to stay for any Snowshoe trip! The owner/host was amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming! The rooms were neat and clean. The house was so cozy! The owner made it feel like home. I cannot recommend it enough!
