"Good place, clean rooms and great breakfast"

"There are many things that did not go well, Where to start?When we were alerted that we would not be staying at our original hotel, We were assured that the new property we would be staying at was much better, I must say you never disparage another hotel in your collection, Shall I continue? We arrived everything was fine, nice room etc,although a good cleaning would be appropriate,We decided after viewing the video’s to try the restaurant, it was a mistake. From the beginning the place was empty there was brad but no butter, everything had to be requested, the mussels (Cozze) were fresh but there was no flavour! No garlic? No Butter? I used some butter which by the way was almost frozen to give some life to the mussels, do I really need to tell you? OK, add white wine, garlic, butter saffron, then you have a $25 Euro dish, it just got worse from there my wife was never asked for the temperature of the meat, it came out raw, we sent it back l for medium cook, it came back medium rare, the baked potatoes were 3 days old please send me an email address , I would love to send you a photo, by the way as a retired Chef and culinarian I was watching the other guests, many were sending photos of the horrible food! Why would you do this in such a beautiful location??? Further more, I had an early train, I stopped by the front desk and requested a car for 4:15AM, I checked back after dinner I was assured by your staff everything was fine."

"I put the hotel name in my SatNav, it took me to a blocked street. I got out, walked around, eventually finding the hotel. At the hotel, check-in was poor, I got my car, came back and was met by somebody who, well, did nothing. I joined a long queue of elderly folk settling their accounts, and once at the front, the guy who did nothing then seeks to check me in - after I have waited.... The room had AC, but could only go as low as 19C, so it took a long time to cool, the room was hot & sticky. So sticky I took my shirt off and sat on the bed with my laptop on my knee to work. I could not get the WiFi to work, so had to hotspot via my cellphone. During this time, my naked back was against the bed's headboard which had a foam/plastic covering. When I moved, this stuck to me, peeling off the headboard, I had to scrape it off my back! When I checked out I spoke of these things to the reception.....they laughed at me."
