I'd Love to come back and spend more time. It's a great place and community with many events happening. There's many great small businesses in the downtown area. Try Marietta Brewing Co. We had the best pizza, cold beers and great service.

Marietta is a frontier town founded 1788. Must see destination for anybody who likes History. Very walkable town even in the snow (especially in the snow). I found the churches and cemetaries to be wonders.

Nice area to visit for a weekend getaway. The river boat tour is why we chose this area and we were hoping for a livelier downtown area but we visited in mid October so not much of a draw for visitors.

Marietta is a great town. Except for the busy cheap part of town with the cheap hotels and Wal-Mart. The country club is nice though.
